Paul Wiesbrock studied Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin. As part of his master’s degree, he spent a year working at the medical technology start-up Hygnova, which developed a system to improve hand hygiene in hospitals. He then worked for several years as a development engineer at Miethke, where he was involved in a collaborative project researching a novel method of cardiac support. His involvement in patent applications in this context deepened his interest in intellectual property law and reinforced his decision to become a patent attorney.

Since January 2024, Paul Wiesbrock has been a registered patent attorney. He joined our firm in 2025 and supports our clients in patent application and grant procedures as well as in trademark law.
